UDC Dance Classes start this week in Headingley

UDC returns with a new term of dance classes starting on Tuesday 8th September 09

From Hip Hop, Fusion, Street dance and Break dance, be it for fitness and fun or to learn the latest in commercial dance moves your sure to find a dance class to suit you.

DANCE CLASSES TIME TABLE

Tuesday
6.30 to 7.30pm – Fusion dance – Beginners
7.30 to 8.30pm – Street dance – Beginners

Wednesday
6.30 till 7.30pm – Hip-hop fusion – All levels
7.30 till 8.30pm – Break dance – Beginners

Price: £5 (for students and the unwaged £4.50).

Meet your dance teachers

Hip Hop Fusion - Bobak

The Hip-hop Fusion Dance Class is taken by Bobak Walker, a professional dancer choreographer and teacher. Bobak trained at the Northern Contemporary dance school and has gone on to have a successful career in performance and teaching work.

He has developed his own style of hip hop dance with influences from Reggaeton and original LA Krumping.

Street Dance - Emma

Emma Bolland is our regular teacher for the Street Dance Class who also trained at the Northern Contemporary dance school.

Emma brings great energy to the class room not only will you feel like you are learning the latest street dance moves but you will also get a great work out. She is a versatile artiste and performs regularly for UDC in our Corporate shows, fashion and Hip Hop productions.

Break dance - Jamie

Jamie Bell is our current teacher for the Break Dance class. Jamie is an experienced artiste, he has a confident and assured teaching manner and is excellent with teaching beginners, known for his acrobatics and jaw dropping power moves, you will be sure of a fun and inspiring class.

Fusion dance - Sarah

Our fusion dance classes are taken by Sarah Spearing, an award winning dancer, choreographer and director of UDC. Lessons encompass a variety of styles of dance including: jazz, theatre dance, lyrical jazz, contemporary and street dance.

UDC is a commercial dance company and agency providing dancers, choreogrpahy and shows for corporate events and entertainment world-wide.

Our dance classes are suitable for people of all abilities, and are designed to be professional, inspirational and fun.
