Delivering the home security message for Halifax

Delivering the home security message for Halifax

Leading home insurer Halifax wanted to target high-crime Greater Manchester and highlight the risk of burglary and the need for home insurance. The company also wanted to position itself as an expert on home security and drive sales across all channels. 

We decided to focus on two key seasonal times when homes are at a greater risk of burglary: in October when the clocks change and in the run up to Christmas when homes are chock full of presents.

To give the campaign extra media appeal we drafted in former Greater Manchester Police crime prevention head David Heathcote as a spokesman for the campaign.

With positive brand and product messages in more than 60 per cent of coverage, the campaign also generated 25 mentions in the region, including two articles in the Manchester Evening News. Radio coverage included features on BBC Manchester, Century FM and was also aired on local satellite TV station, Channel M.

Supporting glass specialist's growth plans

When glass repair and replacement specialist Solaglas Windowcare wanted help with getting their growth message across to insurers, they called on Smart for advice.

The company also wanted to  been seen as an integral part of the Saint-Gobain UK operation and increase awareness of its full offering, including call management and commercial services. 

We've put together a six-month programme that includes generating editorial, advertising, sponsorship, awards submissions and media opportunities for company MD, Ian Davy.
