After a sell-out debut last autumn, Matthew Dunster’s razor sharp one-man play returns to the Young Vic for a limited run.

It’s a vivid, fast-talking, visceral snapshot of life growing up in the 1980s where Adam crashes through his teens, haphazardly steering himself out of Oldham and into adulthood.

You Can See the Hills recalls those moments growing up that are unique and universal: a dark moment of rebellion against your mum, the bloodlust of your gang, the summer evening feeling that you’ll live forever.

William Ash plays Adam. Will's recent credits include Clocking Off, Doctor Who and recent indie hit film Hush.
